<p>This is a step-by-step specific guide for how to set up an email account in Microsoft Outlook 2003 for cPanel on an Apache server. Although the screen shots and steps are specifically for MS Outlook 2003, this process may work for other Outlook versions.</p>
<h3>Step 1</h3>
<ul>
<li>Open Outlook</li>
<li>On Menu Click &ldquo;Tools&rdquo;&gt; then &ldquo;Email Accounts&rdquo;</li>
</ul>

<p>a) Check the Radio Button &ldquo;Add a new e-mail account&rdquo;&gt; <br />
  b) Then click &ldquo;Next&rdquo;&gt;</p>

<p>a) Check the Radio Button &ldquo;POP3&rdquo;&gt; <br />
b) Then click &ldquo;Next&rdquo;&gt;</p>

<h3>Step 4</h3>
<p>a) Under &ldquo;User Information&rdquo; type Your Name in &ldquo;Your Name&rdquo;&gt;<br />
b) Under &ldquo;User Information&rdquo; type Your full email address in &ldquo;Email Address&rdquo;&gt;<br />
c) Under &ldquo;Login Information&rdquo; type Your full email address (again) in &ldquo;User Name&rdquo;&gt;<br />
d) Under &ldquo;Login Information&rdquo; type Your password&gt;<br />
e) Be sure the &ldquo;Remember password&rdquo; box is checked&gt;<br />
f) Under &ldquo;Server Information&rdquo; type in &ldquo;Incoming Mail Server&rdquo; (Get this from your Server Administrator)&gt;<br />
g) Under &ldquo;Server Information&rdquo; type in &ldquo;Outgoing Mail Server&rdquo; (Get this from your Server Administrator)&gt;<br />
&#8211; STOP &ndash; Go to Next Step! &#8211;</p>

<p>a) Click on &ldquo;Outgoing Server&rdquo; tab&gt;</p>

<p>a) Check &ldquo;My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication&rdquo; box&gt;<br />
b) Click Radio Button &ldquo;Log on using&rdquo;&gt;<br />
c) In &ldquo;User Name&rdquo; text box type in your full email address&gt;<br />
d) In &ldquo;Password&rdquo; text box type in your password&gt;<br />
e) Make sure the &ldquo;Remember Password&rdquo; box is checked&gt;<br />
f) Click &ldquo;OK&rdquo;&gt;</p>

<h3>Step 8</h3>

<li>Click &ldquo;Account Settings&rdquo;&gt;</li>

<li>After successful test (all green check marks) click on &ldquo;Close&rdquo; button&gt;</li>

<p>If test is NOT successful, read error message and correct problem and retest.</p>

<p>Congratulations you have successfully set up an email account in MS Outlook 2003. The way in which this account is set up you can have multiple emails and when you reply to any of them it will go back out on the proper account.</p>
